Unlock a world of volunteer opportunities tailored for individuals, groups, and organizations during the 10-day extravaganza of the Super Fair! Your participation as a volunteer is paramount to the success of each year's event. We offer a diverse range of roles matched to your interests and abilities. Join us in creating memorable experiences! Volunteers must be 16 years or older.
VOLUNTEER ROLES
Admission Gate Ticket Takers & Parking Attendants:
- Must enjoy being in the great outdoors, bring hat/sunglasses
- Don't forget your sunscreen!
- Shifts: Mornings, afternoons & evenings
Bartenders:
- 19yrs and older
- Must have valid server's permit
- Dress modestly, closed-toe shoes
- Shifts: mornings, afternnons & evenings
Grandstand Event Ticker Scanners:
- Shifts: 6 evening events
Figure 8 Scorers:
- Shift: Thursday August 8, evening
Cafe Workers:
- Dress modestly, closed-toe shoes
- Shifts: mornings, afternoon, evening
VOLUNTEER BENEFITS
All volunteers working at least 4 hours receive:
- Super Fair T-shirt
- Unlimited fountain drinks including soda, iced tea, lemonade and water
- Breaks, shade, basic snacks will be provided as much as possible (Note: snacks do not account for dietary restrictions)
- One (1) meal from any SGEC cafe
- If you need certification of your volunteer hours for school or other organization, we are happy to sign your form.
- Earn fair tickets after working 2 shifts

Unpaid Volunteer Opportunities
The Lancaster County Ag Society invites 4-H/FFA exhibitors and their families to participate in our annual Super Fair Family Fun Volunteer Days at the Lancaster Event Center. The key to success of any county fair is volunteers and we need your help to get the fairgrounds ready each year. Jobs are available for all ages (5+), physical abilities and experiences. You can count on making new friends and having fun together while making each year’s fair better than ever! Sign up is encouraged by July 20 so we can have jobs ready for you.
