The first four days of the Lancaster County Super Fair are the best time to see the amazing 4-H and FFA animals! From livestock shows and contests to hands-on activities, these are the days to get up close and personal with the hardworking animals and talented youth that make our agricultural community shine. Don’t miss the chance to experience the heart of the fair, with exciting events and inspiring displays all packed into these fun-filled days!
4-H & FFA Activities Schedule: Day 1
- 4‑H Horse English, Western, Miniature/Shetlands, Roping/Working Ranch and Game Horse Move-in, or Any Day Prior — All day
- Bagged Shavings Available (EquineMarket Pavilion – East End) — 7 a.m.–9 p.m.
- 4‑H English Horse Show: Hunter/Saddleseat Horse Halter/English Showmanship/ nglish Bareback Equitation/Hunter Under Saddle/Hunt Seat Equitation/English Discipline Rail (TractorHouse Pavilion – Amy Countryman Arena) — 8 a.m.
- 4‑H Cat Check-in and Vet Check (South Hall – Lancaster Co. Farm Bureau Room) — 8–8:45 a.m.
- 4‑H & FFA Swine Check-in & Weigh-in (Currency Pavilion – West End) — 8–10 a.m.
- 4‑H & FFA Market Beef and Breeding Heifers Must be in Stalls — 9 a.m.
- 4‑H Rabbit Check-in (Currency Pavilion – Southwest Corner) — 9 a.m.–Noon
- 4‑H Cat Show/Quiz/Costume Contest (South Hall – North End) — 9 a.m. (Public may view cats 9–11:30 a.m.)
- 4‑H Poultry Judging Contest/Quiz (Currency Pavilion – Southwest Corner) — 9–10 a.m.
- 4‑H Poultry Show/Showmanship (Currency Pavilion – Southwest Corner) — 10 a.m.
- 4‑H & FFA & Open Class Static Exhibits on Display (Ag Society Hall) — 10 a.m.–9 p.m.
- Food Stand 4‑H Council Fundraiser (4‑H Clover Cafe in Ag Society Hall & Horseshoe Cafe in FR8Star Pavilion) — 10 a.m.–9 p.m.
- 4‑H Household Pets Check-in (South Hall – Room A) — 10–11 a.m.
- 4‑H & FFA Swine Must be in Stalls by — 10 a.m.
- 4‑H & FFA Market Beef Check-in & Weigh-in (Currency Pavilion – East End) — 10–11 a.m.
- 4‑H & FFA Breeding Heifers Check-in & Weigh-in (Currency Pavilion – East End) — 11 a.m.–Noon
- 4‑H Cats Released (South Hall – North End) — At end of Cat Show
- 4‑H & FFA Dairy/Pygmy Goat, Dairy Cattle, Bucket Calves and Rabbits Checked-In and Must be in Stalls/Pens (Currency Pavilion) — Noon
- 4‑H & FFA Livestock, Rabbit and Horse Herdsmanship Begins — Noon
- 4‑H Household Pets Show/Animal Activity (South Hall – North End) — Noon (Public may view household pets 2–4 p.m.)
- 4‑H & FFA Sheep Show (Currency Pavilion – Arena, West Side) — 1 p.m.
- 4‑H & FFA Meat Goat Show (Currency Pavilion – Arena, West Side) — Following Sheep Show
- 4‑H Horse Hunter Hack Show (TractorHouse Pavilion – Amy Countryman Arena) — Following English Show
- 4‑H Horse Hunter Show: Hunter / Equitation (TractorHouse Pavilion – Amy Countryman Arena) — Following Hunter Hack Show
- 4‑H Poultry Herdsmanship Begins — 4 p.m.
- 4‑H Household Pets Released (South Hall – North End) — At end of Household Pets Show
- 4‑H & FFA Livestock Judging Contest Registrations Due (Livestock Office) — 6 p.m.
- 4‑H Rabbit Breed Identification Contest/Quiz (Currency Pavilion – Southwest Corner) — 6:30 p.m.
- 4‑H Fashion Show (South Hall) — 7 p.m.
- Farm Kids Obstacle Couse Open to the Public, Followed by Free Root Beer Floats for 4‑H & FFA Exhibitors Provided by Lancaster County Farm Bureau (Currency Pavilion Arena) — 7 p.m.
- Release of 4‑H English & Hunter Horses Begins — End of show day
