How to participate:

  • We highly recommend pre-registering on the Showman App but day of registrations will be accepted as well.
  • Entry fees may be paid when you pre-register on the Showman App or bring your fees day-of.
  • You must register separately for each species.
  • There is a $10 pen fee

Billy Hubler - Meat Goats / ABGA

Billy Hubler, from Chelsea, Oklahoma, grew up on a 75,000+ acre beef ranch, where he developed a lifelong passion for livestock and agriculture. Immersed in the industry from a young age, he also discovered a love for mentoring youth through stock shows and judging opportunities.

Maurice Erwin - Meat Goats / ABGA

Grew up in Iowa raising and showing beef cattle & spotted hogs. Now own a commercial Red Angus operation on the Iowa/ Missouri border. My wife & I raised boer goats & showed for over fifteen years. Evaluating livestock is something I truly enjoy doing.

Chris Shaffert - Meat Goats / ABGA

Chris Shaffett of Hammond, LA is 39 years old and has been judging goats as an ABGA judge across the country for the past 18 years. Partner in his family farm CMT Boer Goats, he and his family have been in the goat industry since the year 2000. As a Jr. member Chris served on the JABGA Board of Directors, then as a Youth Advisor and then a Board Member of The ABGA years 2008-2011. Also he and his family have served as board members for multiple other organizations such as the Louisiana Meat Goat Association and the Livingston Livestock Show Committee.

Chris has had the opportunity to judge many shows across the country including most of “The Majors” but his greatest memories come from his opportunity to judge the JABGA National Show on 3 different occasions. Chris prides himself on being consistent in his judging and giving reasons that are easy to understand and can be seen as he’s explaining that goat in the ring.

Chris is married to Jessieca Shaffett and has two children Preston and Elliot. Chris attended college at Southeastern Louisiana University where he obtained a Bachelors in Business Management. He serves as Youth Pastor of Faith Apostolic Church and works a full time job as a Medicaid Analyst for the State of Louisiana.

Phil Stacy - Meat Goats / ABGA

Phil is a retired Vo Ag Teacher from Oktaha, OK. He and his wife Gina have 4 kids that all grew up participating in 4H & FFA showing all species of livestock. He currently raises commercial cattle, Boer goats, Spanish goats and Border Collies. He is a graduate of Oklahoma State University, where he was a member of the livestock judging team. He has judged all species of livestock in 35 states from local to state levels.
