Come out for an evening of dirt flying, fast-paced fun!
Figure 8 competitors race at full speed on an “8”- shaped track.
A fan-favorite moment happens at the center of the “8”—known as the “crossover”—where skilled drivers navigate near-misses and thrilling close calls.
🚨 Attention kids: During intermission, kids 16 and under are invited to participate in their own competition: a foot race! There will be three heats (5 and under, 6-11, and 12-16). Trophies will be awarded to 1st place and medals for all who participate. Sign up on the day of the event (limit to 10 entries per group).
Want to watch from the pit?
Enter through the pit entrance on the east side of the arena via Gate 4 off Havelock Ave. Grass parking is available behind the arena for your convenience.
🎟 Pit Passes: $20 per person (cash or check only at the entrance). All ages welcome, but anyone under 19 years must have a minor release form signed by a parent or guardian.
🌭 Amenities: General admission bleacher seating and food trucks are available in the pit area.
🚫 Important: No alcohol is allowed in the pit due to insurance safety regulations.

Spectator Guidelines
What you can bring:
A small purse, blankets, jackets, and cameras are allowed. Clear bags are only required in the carnival area, but are highly suggested throughout the fairgrounds. All bags are subject to search.
What to leave at home:
Chairs, umbrellas, outside food & beverages, weapons, and glass items of any kind are NOT permitted.
Security Notice:
Lincoln Police and event security will be present throughout the event to ensure a safe experience for all attendees.
Alcohol Policy:
Bring a photo ID to purchase alcoholic beverages. Grab your alcohol wristband upon entry for quicker service all night. Please enjoy responsibly.
Driver Rules & Purse Info
Drivers:
Register at registration table near track and pre-tech area day of event.
$30 driver entry fee includes pit pass.
Crews & Fans:
All who enter the pits must sign waiver and purchase pit pass for $20 (cash or check only)
2025 Purse Payout:
Stock Class: $700 – 500 – 300 – 200 – 125 – 100 – 75 – 75 – 50 – 50
Open Class: $1000 – 650 – 350 – 250 – 175 – 100 – 75 – 75 – 50 – 50
90’s & Newer/Compact: $400 – 250 – 125 – 100 – 75 – 75 – 75 – 50 – 50 – 50
All classes receive trophies & jumbo checks for top 3!
Pit Rules:
1. Pit gates open at 2:30pm
2. Everyone entering the pits must sign a release and waiver form and receive a wristband.
3. Anyone entering the pits under the age of 19 must also sign a minor release form signed by a parent or guardian.
4. All crew and spectators must pay the $20 pit pass fee.
5. NO ALCOHOL is allowed in the pits at any time.
6. Outside food and drinks are not permitted.
