Open Class Livestock – Sheep Show
Calling all sheep exhibitors! The Open Class Sheep Show at the Lancaster County Super Fair is your chance to showcase your finest sheep in a fun and competitive environment.

Registration & Entry Fees:
Entry Fee: $15/animal
Showmanship: No charge, no payback
Check-In: Saturday, August 9th, 1-2pm
Stall Availability: Starting 7am, day of show
Show Schedule & Order:
- Breeding: shown in alphabetical order by breed
- Market Lambs: broken into classes by weight
- Ewe Lambs: May be shown as both breeding and market, but must be entered twice and pay twice the fee.
- Showmanship: Age division by 4-h specifications
Market Lambs will be given a 5lb variance on weigh backs after classes. All sheep released after they have been shown.
Payout & Bedding:
- 100% payback for all Breeding & Market classes
- No outside bedding allowed
- Shavings available for purchase on arrival: $9/bag (includes tax & delivery)
Rules & Regulations:
- Open to all ages – anyone can show!
- Health Requirements: Exhibitors must comply with Nebraska Health Paper regulations. Show management reserves the right to disqualify any animal showing signs of illness (no refunds).
